Applications are invited from qualified Student Learning Support Officers with a strong commitment to Christian Education. The preferred candidates will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students enabling them to achieve their God-given potential.

About the role

The Student Learning Support Officer assists and supports the classroom teacher working under their direction. They will help build an effective learning environment by working with teachers to support a differentiated curriculum that meets varying learning styles and provide individualised or small group instruction. The classroom teachers are responsible for the education, control and behaviour management of the students.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III Education Support

  • affirm a personal belief in the school’s Statement of Faith, as well as active involvement within their local church;
  • Display high level written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with and in a team
